Everyone dreams to have glowing and clear skin but this dream is shattered by acne. It is the condition of the skin that causes bumps on the skin. It may be of different types including whiteheads, blackheads, and pimples. It causes due to excess oil and dead skin. It is more common in teenagers because of the hormones produces extra oil on the skin.  The easiest way to control your acne and improve your skin to change the eating habits and lifestyle. Eating vitamins and antioxidants reduces most of skin acne.

It is not necessary that acne only occurs on the face, it can be on the face, neck, back, and shoulder. It occurs due to hormonal changes in the body.  Long time acne lowers the confidence and causes inferiority complex. Although it goes with time if you feel it is getting serious, you can also go for treatment. This is all about your inner satisfaction.

Many reasons are there that caused acne. The more you get knowledge about the skin, then you find the reasons. Our skin consists of small holes that are connected through sebaceous glands. These holes are called pores. The glands beneath the skin produce the sebum. The oil sends sebum up to the skin surface. Acne is caused by an excess of oil on the skin, dead skin, and bacterial attack. During the time of puberty, hormones cause the oil glands to produces an excess of oil which increases acne risk.

How eating habits affect the skin

Skin is affected by many factors. Eating food that caused the body to release an excess of blood sugar trigger acne. When blood sugar increases pancreas releases insulin that maintains its level. It increases the risk of acne. White rice, pizza dough, white bread, sugar, and pasta cause the acne on the skin. Chocolate also adds spice to increase acne. Consuming food that contains trans-fat, saturated fat and high carbohydrates caused acne.

Many food items heal the skin and reduce acne. Complex carbohydrates are also good for skin and found in legumes, whole grains, and fruits and vegetables. Minerals, zinc, Vitamin A, C, and E, antioxidants containing food are good to treat acne.  Skin-friendly fruits contain tomatoes, blueberries, quinoa, pumpkin seeds, beans, peas, and lentils. Everyone has different skin so and if you analyze that skin condition is not getting good, consult with your doctor to get better results. Many researchers found that a low glycemic diet has positive results for reducing acne. To visualize the significant results follow the diet for 10 to 12 weeks. People who have a very low amount of Vitamin A and E in the body have serious acne. Intake of Vitamin A and E reduces acne. Omega 3 and antioxidants treat acne. As people are in a state of stress due to acne omega 3 helps to deal with the condition.

It is not always the case that food will treat acne. Food helps a lot in treating the acne issues consult to your doctor and follow a diet plan. A balanced and complete diet helps to solve the problem. Take proper rest, stress less, and strictly follow the eating time. You will see the difference in yourself.
